Drama (Six Sentence Story) and Good Fences

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

As the two men left the attorney’s office each clutching the papers he’d been handed, they were silent and tried to avoid looking at each other.

“This is worse than a cheesy television drama,” one was thinking, while the other would have likened it to an old B movie with a half drunk detective as the star.

Neither of them could quite believe what they’d had to go through to cover up the accident.  No police report, hiding it from the insurance companies, paying more than they would have imagined to make sure all the repairs were done under the table.

All to make sure the one person who would have used it against them couldn’t.

Oh what a tangled web we weave...

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Television.

Gosia, of Looking for Identity, has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
Not sure why they chose a green gate with that fence.
