It’s only less than two weeks into the new year and already there is a heaping pile of thankful things just waiting to be listed and counted and totted up.
Jalopy’s latest repairs are almost paid off.
When her battery died, Young Jacob went and got a new one and installed it at no charge, we just had to buy the battery. (You have no clue how hard it is to get to the battery on a Saturn Relay minivan, and you don’t want to, that was a huge favor!)
#1 Son was finally able to sell something he’d been trying to get rid of, which will help him with his bills.
#2 Son’s father-in-law helped him when he needed tires for Happy the Honda — he put trailer tires on it, and they work.
One client going out of town and one client allowing me to move the cleaning to a different day made for a day off this week.
Satsumas, fresh from a friend’s tree, the best dessert.
Lunceford the Land Yacht’s heater blower has started to work again.
We’ve had several days of sun to dry us out after several days of rain.
We found another space heater on sale after Jezzie dog ate the cord off of the one in the library.
Last Saturday, when i went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, they actually let me run two errands for them! That’s especially big, as Grandpa insists on doing almost everything for himself.
Today is Kiss a Ginger Day, and i’m going to make sure that after work i get to see my three favorite gingers, Red-headed Alec, Sweet Sue, and Baby Lee.
Please join us and our gracious and wonderful hostess Kristi from ThankfulMe, write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful.
