Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Yesterday, as i was driving Grandma on her errands, we got to discussing various people's driving habits. She has a car that has a computer sensor that gets used to the way the main driver handles it, and it really does not react well when someone else drives it. No matter how i baby it, it doesn't like me much, but from what Grandma tells me, it likes Grandpa even less. He takes off out of the driveway so fast that it scares her, but he's always had a lead foot and isn't too fond of stop signs.
Boudreaux don' be too happy 'bout dem stop signs, neither. He done be travelin' way to de North -- Shreveport! -- an' he done get pull over by de officer 'cause o' de stop sign.
After dey argue for a short piece, de officer fin'ly say, "You did not stop for that stop sign!"
An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, I be from Bayou Lafourche, an' down dere all four wheels don' need to quit turnin' fo' it to be a stop!"

This past week, for some reason i noticed a lot of the carpets i have to vacuum. Not the wall to wall ones, but the ones that cover perfectly good hard floors that would be so much easier to clean without carpets on them.
