It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Dr. D has come to a point where she is going through things like gangbusters, and getting rid of stuff. She had me make two trips to the donation center yesterday. She’s on a tear, that’s for sure.
Of course, a lot of stuff is not in the house (she has a storage shed, a storage unit, and the office), but i think if she gets through the stuff in the house, i can bring the rest in a bit at a time and she will take care of it and realize she doesn’t need most of it.
At one point we were going through bags of purses, and i was checking each one, all pockets and zipper areas, just to make sure. We found the spare key to the van, several cancelled checks, and in one of her nice, sequined evening bags, i found several assorted condoms!
She assured me they were given to her and she had no need of them, but i question how they would have been giving them away at a seminar she attended at a local church. Even the very liberal church she says allowed the seminar to be held there. Then again, some strange things go on in this world.
And at the age of almost 81, she can do as she pleases. It was just very funny when i pulled them out of the purse is all.
In other news, it’s THAT time of year again. Time to tear my hair out over taxes. While i try really hard not to swear, i will admit my thoughts sometimes verge on the profane.
