It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Tell me, when do adults grow out of this?

A few weeks ago, on a discussion board website i help moderate, someone sent me a PM asking if i was also the moderator of a chat room on a completely different site.  Well, i am not the moderator of any chatroom anywhere, and i told the person that, no, i am not.

The person in question did not want to believe me, and the resulting conversations seemed about on the level of the above.  Eventually i was believed, but it felt like i was back in the fourth grade having a playground argument!

Meanwhile, anybody want key drama?

While borrowing #2 Son's car, Happy the Honda, somehow his key went missing.  With it went my key to Lunceford the Land Yacht, the Jalopy, and my house key.  We have spares of the latter 3, but not of the former.

Searches were made.  Hair was pulled out.  #2 Son claimed Daughter-in-Law Becky had a spare.  She said she did not, and it turned out the "spare" was a broken piece of a key that opens the door but will not start the vehicle.

Calls were made, dealerships said, "Have it towed in so we can make a key for you!" Finally a locksmith who will come out and make a key for you was located.

An appointment was set, and when i finally finished work for Dr. D (an adventure in itself), i flew home to meet the locksmith.

Five minutes before he showed up, guess what i found?

Another key was made anyway, as i am not going through this again.

While i was at work, Sweetie took care of a couple of errands and then called to say, "I'm finished, and now I'm bored!"

Do you want to come do my job? i asked him.  He's heard about my job.

"I will never be that bored!" he said.

The good news is that Dr. D is finally finished with that grant writing for her cousin, and we can get back to the normal mayhem instead of the hyped up mayhem.

Or at least, as normal as it ever gets around here, which is to say, not very.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, happy, productive, and enjoyable Tuesday!
