Are There Stores In DFW and Other Stuff, and Random and Happy Tuesday Post

***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

My understanding is that i was supposed to write some kind of A to Z Challenge summary yesterday.  Um, i enjoyed doing the A to Z again.  That about covers it for me!

Dr. D is going to go visit family for Mother's Day.  This means she will be traveling.  This means we have to outfit an expedition for her and the cats.  After all, who knows if she can get supplies for them in the DFW area?  Cat food, treats, litter, and all essentials are now in the car along with the carriers and the travel cage.  By the time the gifts and luggage go in tomorrow, i am not sure where she will fit, but that's not my monkey and not my circus.

In other Dr. D news, Mr. Shay, the handyman i recommended, has impressed her enough that she plans to kidnap him.  He came on the day he said, on time, did the work up to her standard and beyond, did a few extra things, and is going to arrange     to come back and do more.  He even caught the mistakes the previous guy made and corrected them, so we hope no more water leaking through the window during storms.

Speaking of windows, we measured windows, supposedly for blinds.  To do this, you have to measure the window at the top, middle and bottom.  To do that, if you are at Dr. D's house, you have to move lots of furniture and hope you can fit the ladder in behind it once you shift it.  If she loses the paper she wrote it all on (which happens at her house, frequently) i think i will seriously consider getting drunk for the first time ever.

Then again, i hate being ill, so probably not.  But i will think about it.

And now for this week's funnies:

Have a fabulous Tuesday, everyone!
