“So, which do you want, the pattern or the solid?” she asked her older sister, holding up the blouses.
“I’m leaning toward the solid, but you know what I was just thinking?” said the older.
“About mom?” the younger always knew.
“Yeah — as much as I hated it when I was a kid, I wish it were so easy now,” older sister sighed.
“How I wish i could hear it again, too, ‘Look at that price, for that, we can go get a pattern and fabric and I can make you two of them!’” younger sister was always great at sounding just like mom.
“The blessing and curse of cheap fashion, it’s not cheaper now to make it yourself, and I am sorry about that,” older sister shook her head while younger closed her eyes, remembering.

Her quiet beauty
Does allure
Her behavior
So demure
He is drawn
All can see
Like the flower
Draws the bee
