Doing the Almost Impossible and Other Assorted Errands, and Random and Happy Tuesday Post

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Guess what!  Now i am probably on the list of those who have accomplished the almost impossible.

Of course, it has to do with Dr. D.

Sunday night and into Monday morning, i barely slept (my body apparently gave up sleep for Lent and doesn’t realize it’s over).

Dr. D, meanwhile, got overheated working in her storage unit on Sunday.  (Side note, she says she worked in there for hours, moving and reorganizing and getting rid of stuff, and i went Monday to look for a container she needed, the place does not look like anything at all has been done, it is as full as ever.)

She was grumpy and i was near the end of my tether, so i tied a knot and held on.  It worked out.

The day started with her insisting that i had to run all of the errands early so i would not get too hot (heat index has been brutal lately).  She then kept me in giving me other stuff to do or to write down to go do until it was way to late to leave early.

While out, she called to say she wanted ice cream (specific brand and flavor only!), and for me to get it last so it would be cold.

Then she added, “Bring me a cafe mocha from the Golden Arches, and some of those Cinnabon things from Taco Bell, and get them last so they will be hot when you get here.”

Upon my asking, do you want me to get the ice cream last so it will be cold or the other items last so they will be hot? she answered, “Yes.”

Well.

Considering that i was in the drive thru lanes at both fast food places right at lunch, i would say that her getting the ice cream still in a solid form and both of the other items relatively warm, as well as my doing the other 5 errands that included working on getting her tires properly inflated (she over-inflated them) without having to pay at a service station and washing the car (by hand first to get the bugs off, then through the car wash), was a pretty good job and a fair imitation of doing the almost impossible.

Yes, i still had to do all of the other work.  Thank heaven for the dishwasher being hooked up now or i would only be leaving this morning.

Enough of that, how about some funnies that Grandma passed along:

Hope everyone has a fabulous and funny Tuesday!
