Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays. Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.
Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you. What better way to start the week than with a smile!
Jake the dog loves to be near his human, Ms. R's husband (that's my every-other-Tuesday person). He will stay outside even in the hottest weather if his person is out there, and if Jake is made to come in and cool off, he will not leave the door.

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border. She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week. Charlotte/Mother Owl almost always participates, too. This week the theme is Ants.
Down here in the hot Deep South
We have a special dance
We only do when by mistake we
Walk near the fire ants.
We hop and then we wiggle
Then we holler, yell and shout,
While slapping at the buggers
And flailing all about.
So if you come on down here
And you see it, don’t make fun,
While we people will be friendly,
Our ants will make you run!
