That's A Lot of Packaging for Prunes (Wordless Wednesday) and Words for Wednesday

 ***********************************

Linking up with Wordless Wednesday and Sandee at Comedy Plus.

***********************************

Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts to encourage us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.

This month, the prompts are being provided by Elephant's Child.

This week's prompts are:

  1. Bent
  2. Icon
  3. Never
  4. Quiet
  5. Half
  6. Hope

And/or

  1. Other
  2. Mean
  3. Particular
  4. Little
  5. Life
  6. Anthem

NEVER be QUIET seemed to be the ANTHEM of this PARTICULAR kitten.  It didn't just cry for the bottle, it howled with a voice that belied how LITTLE it truly was.

This one would fight for LIFE, and as long as it would put up a fight, there was HOPE.

No one in the family meant it in a MEAN way, but they truly tried not to get too attached.  They were BENT on bottle raising the kittens, then sending them back to the rescue for new homes.   After all, if they'd kept even HALF of the kittens they'd raised, the house would be overrun.

This kitten had OTHER ideas.  It would become an ICON for what happens when the tiniest bottle baby worms its way in and then becomes one of the biggest cats in the house, but still plays like a kitten several years later.

That's our Link, from barely two ounces when found abandoned after he was born to 15 pounds of will not be ignored cat.
