It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Today is also Dr. Seuss Day, so:

It's time to cut loose

Celebrate Dr. Seuss!

The official hosts of Dr. Seuss Day are Timmy of Timmy Tomcat,

Emmy of 15AndMeowing, and Ranger of The Adventures of Ranger.

Carl had me grinning yesterday, trying to think of how to describe what was going on with him in rhyme.  He was running around exercising, and it came out like this,

his robe was flapping in the breeze

as he's doing his leg lifts, if you please!

He really was, wearing his pajama shirt, his boxers, and his robe, standing at the kitchen table eating a bite, doing some leg lifts, eating another bite.  He's fun to watch.

When i went into his apartment, i saw his trash can

Sometimes the young man's brilliant

his mind so open wide,

he finds a great solution

i never would have tried.

Finally, no more trash bag down in the can and trash loose in the can syndrome.

While i really did want to write a long poem for Dr. Seuss Day, that pesky work gets in the way.

If you wanna earn that dime,

You gotta put in the time!

Those pesky bills come home,

To work i have to roam.

Le sigh.

In honor of the man who had no children because he always said, "You have 'em, I'll entertain 'em," a few kid pictures that Grandma sent and that probably would have made Dr. Seuss smile, too.

Happy Dr. Seuss Day, everyone!
