Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey is on a blog break and is sorely missed.   Charlotte/Mother Owl always participates, and now Karen at Baking in a Tornado is jumping in some weeks, too.  Spike's Best Mate often leaves a wonderful poem in the comments on one of our blogs.

This week the theme is Be Nasty Day.

Every day's be nasty day

If you are a jerk.

That you have a day to celebrate

Is a really special perk.

Whoever started this holiday

Did not leave a trace

This way we cannot find his house

To with toilet paper grace!

If you celebrate this “holiday”

Just please don’t act the fool,

Remember it’s one thing to be nasty

And another to be cruel.

Special Note:  It is time to wish many happy returns of the day to #2 Son, who is 25 years old today!
