Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Sweetie put an extra cushion in the chair, and Dansig takes over every time he gets up.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I never thought I would __________________ until ___________.

2. ______________ is the ______________ to _______________.

3. I’m happy to announce that _________.

4. _________ is like a second home to me.

1. I never thought I would   be able to have children  until   the doctors figured out the right treatments.

2. Prayer  is the   only way i  know  to   get through hard times.

3. I’m happy to announce that   Brother-in-Law has been told by his doctor that he does not need the home health company (that wanted $4,000 up front!) or oxygen any longer, and he can go back to work any time he feels strong enough.

4. NOLA  is like a second home to me.   After all, i grew up down there!

Updates, some good, but first the bad news.  Uncle P, my brother and my children's uncle, was sent back to ICU yesterday morning and is back on a ventilator.

Brother-in-Law, as noted above, is released and apart from some residual tiredness that can last a while, can go back to his normal routines.

Sweetie has his appointment today.  He's been off his oxygen for most of the last two days and his levels are staying up, so we expect the doctor will also release him.
