If there is one thing Grandma cannot stand, it is plans that are nebulous or only half formed.
She wants complete clarity and control, knowing what’s going to happen and when.
That’s why the delay on Uncle P’s funeral due to a hurricane, and her inability in the immediate aftermath to get in touch with the funeral home to reschedule right away, had her beside herself.
They’ve finally gotten in touch with everyone and she has firmly decided that it will be on Friday, September 10.
She is, unfortunately, etching this in stone in her own mind, and if the NOLA area does not at least have water and sewer service back up by then thus forcing another delay, well, let’s just say i foresee a disturbance in the force.
It won’t be pretty, and i hope to not have to see that.

When i ran to Ms. RW’s house to get the outfit she is loaning me, i snapped a white picket. How i do love a white picket fence.

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day! This week's image and my poem:
I very much love my colors,
That opinion I won’t rescind,
There are times, however,
I just don’t appreciate wind!
(Sometimes a kilt is refered to as your "colors" because it is supposed to be made with your family tartan pattern.)
