***********************************

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Coda and Lulu got to visit (along with Jack and Abby) three days in a row last week.  Those two girls especially love to "wrassle".

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey is on a blog break and we hope she will join us again soon, she is sorely missed.   Charlotte/Mother Owl participates, and now Karen at Baking in a Tornado is jumping in at least once a month, too.

This week the theme is Defy Superstition Day.

'Tis Monday Thirteenth

Don't be like Garfield the Cat

And go back to bed

************

It's Monday the Thirteenth!

The superstitious cried,

Time to be extra careful

And maybe even hide!

But Thirteenth of September

Is Defy Superstition Day;

Lets throw off that notion

And get out there and play!

Time to walk under a ladder,

Open your umbrella indoors,

Go seek out a black cat,

Spill salt upon the floors!

Don't bother to find your rabbit foot

Or your lucky underwear,

Just treat superstitions

As if they aren't there.

So get out there and know that

You need to live with grit,

Remember that your luck is

Mostly what you make it.
