It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Carl tried very hard to stay in bed yesterday.
"Five more minutes!" he kept saying, and i had to put my foot down.
Young man, i have to wash the pillowcases you're sleeping on, and it's time for a shower.
He groaned and got up, then headed for the shower. He'd already picked out a pair of pants and shirt to wear, both hung up in the closet. The pants were dirty. Yes, sometimes he hangs up dirty clothes when his mom tells him to "get your clothes off the floor!"
No, it isn't easier to hang them than to throw them in a clothes hamper, but once again, job security.
He then proceeded to eat a sampling of practically everything in the kitchen. He cooked an egg until it looked a bit rubbery to me and kept prodding at it, asking me, "Is it done yet?"
It's ready for cremation, i muttered. He enjoyed it anyway.
At Ms. PA's house, a mutual friend of ours from church came to visit her while i was there. Ms. B brought her some fancy chocolate candies, and Ms. PA was in heaven. Once the visitor left, she couldn't help herself and ate two of them. When the sitter asked if she wanted her lunch, Ms. PA said, "No, I just ate those candies, I think I'll have lunch later."
The sitter and i teased her. Just like our kids, you spoiled your supper with candy! All three of us laughed.
Speaking of laughing, did you know common household objects can be male or female?
