It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
There had been an "incident" at Carl's house involving his parent's bathroom rug, which i found in the laundry room along with the usual mass of items Carl might or might not have washed. I did not know at the time what had happened, i just figured i'd best wash everything and ask questions later.
Since i clean the rest of the house this Thursday, it was more like simply doing a little of the work ahead of time.
Carl had an "incident" of his own, involving one of his OTC medications. He loses the lids, and this time it turned into a spot of a bother.

Almost all the pills were either crushed and trampled all over the room or damp and falling apart. Job security.
In a most unusual turn of events, Carl's refrigerator was empty.
Yes, the cupboard was bare, i was going to have to hunt up lunch from elsewhere.
When i got into the big kitchen, i could see why he hadn't made any sandwiches ahead of time, his parent's fridge was almost empty, too. I was asking myself what i was going to do for his lunch when he muttered, "Butter!"
"What did you say?"
"Peanut butter!"
"Excellent idea!"
He chose apricot jelly and after i'd packed a fruit cup, cheese stick, sandwich and raisins, he was hurriedly running around grabbing his things and saying, "Did you pack tea and water?"
I'd packed water, he had no tea, and he was out the door.
Wait!
"Where's your work vest? I'll get it."
I ran for the vest, he ran for his phone, and he was finally really on the way, five minutes earlier than usual. A miracle, really.
He'd left me plenty to do, of course, what with using a folded towel for an extra pillow (he has six pillows) and leaving clothes on the hanger that he still dropped into the hamper.
When i arrived there were no paper towels on the spindle in the laundry room. When i went back to take care of that, i found this.
Yes, he gets a roll out, but that's as far as he goes. Why would he shut the cabinet door after removing a roll, once he has the roll, he's done with the door, no need to touch it again. As for putting it on the holder spindle, that's a pipe dream.
