Yesterday, Uncle Jon took his dogs to the veterinarian. Both of his dogs, a brother and sister from the same litter, are 9 years old, getting to the age of needing extra care.
Thibodeaux done come in to fin' Boudreaux settin' at de table wit' all de pill bottle an' two o' dose pill minders dat hold you de pills fo' de whole week. Boudreaux be shakin' hims head an' Thibodeaux done ax, "What be wrong, Boudreaux?"
An' Boudreaux say, "I jes tooked Phideaux [Eng. Fido] to de vet, an' mais! you know you be gettin' old when you gots you two o' de pill minders, one fo' you and one fo' de dog!"
