Grandma was talking about her weight yesterday.
"I've been eating so much!" she said. "For once, I've got an appetite, and I've even gained some weight. I have to watch out, I don't want to get fat!"
Please note, her current weight is about 105lbs/48kg, so she's hardly in any danger of gaining too much.
Boudreaux done walk in de house an' see Clothile settin' at de table an' shakin' her head, an' he ax, "What be de matter?"
An' she say, "I jes done come back from de doctor, I done had de annual check-up today, remember?"
"Dat be right, now I do," say Boudreaux. "So do some'pin be wrong you be shakin' you head 'bout?"
An' Clothile say, "Non, dere don' be ennyt'in' wrong, but maid! from now on, I be goin' ax de doctor give me my weight in de kilograms so de number soun' lower!"
