Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Last week was both Grandpa's birthday and Uncle J's birthday.  Both are "over 21" and that's all i'm going to say.

Grand-père Boudreaux done be celebratin' hims birthday, an' young Tee Boudreaux done ax, "Grand-père, what do it be like to be old?"

An' Grand-père say, "Mais!  I don' be old!  I be younger today dan I's ever goin' be again!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

Photos from the past week, most taken from the complex where #2 Son and His Bride live.

They told me i could sleep in the "nest" if i wanted.
Since it would take at least one other person to haul me out,
and the dog would be climbing on me as i tried to get up,
i went ahead and opted to sleep on the futon.

This week, Jock wants to join the Kitties Blue for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop, and he hopes it's okay for woofies to join in.
