The WATER keeps coming, and coming, and coming.
That time, it was almost 14 inches in just a few hours, another FLOOD was inevitable. Today, it poured from the heavens in buckets, but only for about a half hour, leaving puddles everywhere.
The water will GATHER in low spots and LINGER for days in some places. It can cause unbelievable DESTRUCTION.
It seems now, as soon as one of these episodes becomes a MEMORY, another one occurs.
The elements are COLD, they don’t care what they take from you.
If there’s any SOLACE, it is that your NEIGHBOR understands, we help each other through. We’ve all either been there, or had it happen to friends and loved ones. No one is untouched.
We’ve had more rain this year than normal, and there’s no knowing how long this pattern will hold, or if it is the new normal. The climatologists and meteorologists are ENIGMATIC, not wanting to say too much.
While i’m sorry today’s words led me in this direction, it’s was inevitable. The flood plane is changing here, areas that used to be safe aren’t so any more.
Summer, and the storm season, aren’t over yet.
