Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Grandpa is very, very interested in American style football as played at the college level. This time of year, he and many others eat, breathe, and live for the games, mostly on Saturdays.
This lead to a discussion between me, Grandma and Miss Eva about the various combinations of college colors, and how those translate, sometimes for good and sometimes not, onto the football field.
Thibodeaux done be axin' Boudreaux, "What you t'ink be de chances fo' de football team dis year?"
An' Boudreaux say, "I don' t'ink dey got dem de snowball chance on de bayou!"
An' Thibodeaux ax, "Why you t'ink dat?"
An' Boudreaux say, "Mais! I saw dem at de practice, an' dem new snazzy uniforms dey got show dey rather lose an' look stylin' dan win an' be tacky!"
